Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026. These terms apply to contracts concluded after their publication on sessionleads.com.
1. Who we are and who these terms are for
1.1 SessionLeads is a business name of Julian Höninger, sole trader, Kalvarienbergstraße 5, Tür 1, 4310 Mauthausen, Austria, email julian@sessionleads.com (“we”, “us”).
1.2 We sell only to businesses: music producers, recording and mixing studios, engineers and similar businesses that offer production, recording, mixing or mastering services to artists (“you”). We do not enter into contracts with consumers. By ordering, you confirm that you act for your business. If you are a consumer, please do not order.
1.3 These terms apply to every free test, one-off purchase and subscription. Your own terms do not apply unless we agree to them in writing.
2. What we provide
2.1 We research musicians (“artists”) who match the profile you give us in your onboarding (in particular genres, artist level and region) and deliver them electronically, usually as a Google Sheet.
2.2 For each artist we provide, where publicly available: name, links to public profiles, public numbers, latest release, a reason to get in touch and a draft first message.
2.3 Included are the SessionLeads Tracker (a web tool to work through your list) and SessionLeads Openers (a guide for conversations with artists).
2.4 We use software and AI tools for research, for checking artists and for drafting first messages. Every artist is checked against your profile before delivery. Draft messages are suggestions; you complete, check and send them yourself.
2.5 All information comes from public sources and reflects what was public on the day we checked it. Numbers, profiles and label status can change after delivery.
3. Offers
3.1 Free test: 10 artists, once per studio, free of charge and without obligation. No payment card is needed.
3.2 One-off purchase: a single delivery of the chosen number of artists for a one-off payment.
3.3 Subscription: ongoing delivery of the chosen monthly number of artists for a monthly fee, in weekly parts unless agreed otherwise.
3.4 Prices and plans are shown on sessionleads.com and in the checkout at the time of your order.
4. Free trial month (only if offered to you)
4.1 We may offer a subscription that starts with a free trial. Unless the offer says otherwise, the trial lasts 30 days and includes 25 artists, delivered weekly.
4.2 You add a payment card when you start the trial. Nothing is charged during the trial.
4.3 Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues automatically at €130 per month (or the plan price shown in the checkout), billed monthly in advance from the day after the trial ends.
4.4 You can cancel during the trial at any time in the billing portal (sessionleads.com/billing) or by email. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing; deliveries stop when the trial ends.
4.5 We send you an email reminder 7 days before the trial ends, with the date of the first charge, the amount and how to cancel.
4.6 A trial is available once per studio. A trial offer may have a deadline; after it, the offer can no longer be accepted.
5. How a contract is made
5.1 A paid contract is concluded when you complete checkout with our payment provider Stripe and accept these terms, or when we agree individually by email.
5.2 A free test starts when we confirm your request. There is no right to a free test.
6. Prices, payment and tax
6.1 Prices are in euros. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
6.2 We do not charge VAT. For customers in Austria, we apply the small business exemption (§ 6(1)(27) Austrian VAT Act). For business customers in other EU member states, the reverse charge applies: VAT is due from you in your country. Please provide your VAT ID in the checkout.
6.3 We may change subscription prices for future billing months. We tell you at least 30 days in advance by email; you can cancel before the change takes effect.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery requires a completed onboarding.
7.2 Subscription: first part usually within 3 working days after your onboarding, then weekly. One-off purchases: within 7 working days after your onboarding.
7.3 Delivery times are estimates. If we are late, we tell you and deliver as soon as possible, and you still receive the full monthly number of artists.
8. Exclusivity
8.1 We do not deliver any artist we delivered to you to another SessionLeads customer for three months from delivery, unless agreed otherwise in writing. After that, the artist may be delivered again.
8.2 Exclusivity applies to our customers only. We cannot control whether artists are in contact with other producers or studios through other channels.
9. No guaranteed results
We owe careful research and delivery. We do not promise replies, conversations, bookings, clients or revenue. What you achieve depends on your work, your prices and your conversations.
10. How you may use the artist data
10.1 You may use the delivered information only to contact each artist personally and one to one about working together on music.
10.2 In particular, you must not: send mass or automated messages or email sequences; share, publish or resell the lists; use the data for other purposes.
10.3 You are responsible for your own contact with artists under the law that applies to you, including data protection law and the rules on electronic messages (for example § 174 Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, § 7 German Act against Unfair Competition, or the corresponding rules in your country), and under the terms of the platform you use.
10.4 If an artist objects to being contacted or asks for deletion, delete their data without delay and let us know. If we tell you that an artist has objected, delete their data and do not contact them.
10.5 For your own contact with the artists, you are an independent controller under the GDPR.
10.6 If you are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Annex 1 (EU Standard Contractual Clauses) applies to the artist data we deliver to you and forms part of our contract. It does not apply as long as the European Commission recognises your country as providing an adequate level of data protection (for example the United Kingdom).
10.7 If you breach this clause, we may end the contract with immediate effect.
11. Term and cancellation
11.1 Subscriptions have no minimum term. They run until cancelled.
11.2 Either side can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid billing month, in the billing portal (sessionleads.com/billing) or by email. Billing months already paid are not refunded. For the free trial, clause 4 applies.
11.3 You can change your plan for the next billing month.
11.4 The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
12. Offers by email
We may send you offers for similar SessionLeads services by email after a purchase. You can say no to this at any time, free of charge: reply “stop” or write to julian@sessionleads.com. Every such email contains this option.
13. Liability
13.1 We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and personal injury.
13.2 For slight negligence we are not liable, as far as the law allows. In any case our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the damage occurred, and we are not liable for lost profit or indirect damage.
13.3 We are not liable for how you use the delivered information.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for the future. We send you the new version at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then. If you keep the subscription, the new terms apply from that date. We will point this out in the email.
15. Final provisions
15.1 Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
15.2 Place of jurisdiction is the court with subject-matter jurisdiction for 4310 Mauthausen, Austria. We may also sue you at your place of business.
15.3 If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
15.4 These terms are written in English.
Annex 1 · EU Standard Contractual Clauses for customers outside the EEA
A1.1 This annex applies if you are based outside the European Economic Area in a country for which there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission under Art. 45 GDPR. It covers the artist data we deliver to you.
A1.2 For these transfers, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission in Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021, Module One (transfer controller to controller), form part of our contract (the “Clauses”). We are the data exporter, you are the data importer. The Clauses are published at eur-lex.europa.eu (CELEX 32021D0914); we send you a copy on request. By accepting these terms, you also accept the Clauses.
A1.3 Choices in the Clauses: Clause 7 (docking clause) does not apply. The optional wording in Clause 11(a) does not apply. Clause 13: the competent supervisory authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). Clause 17: the Clauses are governed by Austrian law. Clause 18: disputes are resolved by the courts of Austria.
A1.4 Description of the transfer (Annex I of the Clauses). Parties: data exporter Julian Höninger, trading as SessionLeads (details in clause 1.1), controller; data importer: you, with the details you gave at checkout or in your test request, controller. Data subjects: musicians and bands (artists). Categories of data: artist or band name; links to public profiles; town or region as stated publicly; genre; public numbers such as monthly listeners and followers; latest release and a link to a recent public post; public information about label, management or booking; the contact channel the artist publishes; a draft first message. Sensitive data: none. Frequency: with each delivery. Nature of the processing: making the data available in an electronic list, usually a shared Google Sheet. Purpose: to contact each artist personally and one to one about working together on music (clause 10). Retention: only as long as needed for this purpose; earlier deletion if the artist objects (clause 10.4). Onward transfers: none, except to your own service providers under Clause 8.7 of the Clauses.
A1.5 Technical and organisational measures (Annex II of the Clauses): we share lists only with the account you name and can withdraw access at any time. You restrict access to the lists to the people who need it for the purpose, protect your accounts with strong passwords and two-step login where available, do not publish or forward the lists, and delete an artist’s data without delay when they object.
A1.6 If UK data protection law applies to a transfer, the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the UK Information Commissioner applies in addition, with the choices above.
A1.7 If these terms and the Clauses conflict, the Clauses prevail.
